Small-lot winemaking · California
Wine is a record of time.
GAEA is my working cellar journal: the decisions, observations, and patient stretches between fruit and bottle. Every vintage gets its own record, kept honestly and updated as the wine evolves.

01 / The journal
A vintage is more than a year on a label. It is weather, fruit, judgment, and hundreds of small decisions—made visible here.
This is where I keep the details that are too easy to forget: what each lot gave me, what I changed, and what I learned along the way. A year may hold one wine or five; each bottling keeps its own place in the record.
02 / From the journal
“That is the kind of stillness I respect. Not the stillness of giving up. The stillness of becoming.”
From My Thoughts While Drinking Bourbon—reflections on patience, friendship, and what the cellar carries forward.
